Our
Water Resources programs provide research-based water resources
information and educational programs to the public. Our goal is
to promote responsible land and water stewardship to protect aquifers,
streams, rivers, wetlands, marine waters and the resources that
these water bodies provide.
SERVICES
- Educational
programs for Real Estate Professionals, designed to help brokers,
salespersons, and appraisers understand water resource issues
as they relate to homeowners and property development. Courses
offered include Salmon & Streams, Septics & Groundwater,
Shorelines, Wetlands, Water-friendly Landscaping, Low-Impact Development,
and Forest Practices.
- Environmental
Stewardship Curricula and Video Library which is available
for use by area educators such as youth group leaders, school
teachers and other interested individuals.
- Technical
assistance to area residents on specific water quality and water
resource protection questions. Contact Robert

- Specific
educational programming, leadership and assistance to watershed
groups.
