Who Are
We?
Washington
State University Thurston County Extension is a three-way partnership
of the United States Department of Agriculture, Washington State
University, and Thurston County dedicated to community education.
Cooperative Extension works closely with Washington State University
to bring information and resources to residents of Thurston County.
Mission and
Goals
Washington
State University Thurston County Extension helps people develop leadership
skills and use research-based knowledge to improve their economic
status and quality of life.
Thurston County
administrative staff & support staff, and Washington State University
faculty make up the dedicated Cooperative Extension team who:
- Deliver educational
programs based on objective research
- Cooperate
and collaborate with local and state agencies in educational efforts
- Train volunteers
to assist in information and program delivery
