Demonstration
Gardens
The Thurston County Demonstration
Gardens serve as a examples to the public of the gardening techniques
and recommendations from the Master Gardeners. It is a place where
we test out different plants. From these test results we can make
recommendations for our local area on specific plants.
Do you have a plant problem? Possibly a plant is eaten-up by bugs
or diseases? Maybe you have a plant or weed you cannot identify?
Or, you have a spot in your garden and you need advice on what
to plant? That's where our Master Gardener volunteers can help.
Come visit one of our Gardens or Clinic for the answers
Remember, the clinics and gardens are operated by volunteers and
are for home gardeners.
Olympia
Farmer's Market
The Garden, called Gallacci Gardens
at the request of the Farmers Market board, consists of plants
donated by the vendors and the Market itself. Eventually, the

who visit to see the beauty and ease of growth of native plants
and vegetation. The work, including plantings, rock work and trellis',
was donated and preformed by MG volunteers. Included in the Garden
is a worm bin and composting area. The Garden is designed as a
viewing garden to Market patrons and visitors.
Open: 10 am to 2
pm, during the days of the Market., when volunteers are available
